I found a bug in the Adept platform. How do I report it?
Your feedback is incredibly valuable. As you use Adept, please submit any feedback — including bug reports or product suggestions — using the blue feedback button found near the bottom of your screen.
Where is my training activity?
The My Analytics section in your account reflects your completed skills, hours of training, course progress, and quiz questions answered per course. Adept focuses on the skills you are gaining as you learn. Courses are composed of skills. Each skill is intended to be “something you know” and/or “something you can do”. Every skill has an estimated time to complete, including labs, questions, text, and video. When you complete the quiz questions, you get credit for the time trained to that point.
How do I pick up where I left off?
You will find the courses you're enrolled in as well as your recently viewed courses on your dashboard.
I am having trouble following along with transcripts. Will any changes be made?
We are working on formatting the transcripts shown during a video and will have an improved version soon.
Can I auto-play videos?
In the default view mode, our videos do not autoplay because we want to give you time to read the text, answer the questions, and do the virtual labs where available. Based on your feedback, we have designed a “Video Review Mode” where you’ll be able to sit back and auto-watch all the videos in a skill. This mode should be used to review or freshen up on content. It does not provide credit for course progress because validation quizzes are not included.
What is an Organization? Why am I in it?
By default, all accounts at Adept are enabled for multi-user features. If you want to study with a friend, share reporting statistics, or have your training purchased by your company and tracked together, you can add users to your “organization”. You can also join one or more organizations to enable group reporting and management.
Does managing my Organization also manage my subscription?
An organization manages any subscription they pay for. With Adept organizations, users can have a license to a company-provided subscription or no licenses and only train with the freely available content in Adept.
I am having trouble exploring the CBT Nuggets course catalog
Try using the filters on the left to narrow down your search results and display content that fits your needs. Or use the Advanced Search button for a more granular, AI-assisted search. Please submit a suggestion via the feedback button if you have specific ideas to improve our catalog search and discovery.
Why is my lab timing out?
Our initial implementation of labs did not have protection against misuse. We have since implemented a firewall for lab machines, monitoring of hardware use, and screen recording. With these safeguards we are confident that our labs will not be used to launch malicious attacks. The session limit is now set at 8 hrs and we are experimenting with longer limits. The other limiting factor is the cost of sessions. We will be making a decision for the most flexibility for lab learners without having to increase the price of our services.
Is Adept a different company?
No, Adept is the platform that now powers CBT Nuggets training. We’d love to hear what you think so we can continue to improve. Use the feedback button to report any bugs, or just to let us know what you think.
